About Me

Looking for a part-time job (only during week days) where I can gain experience and commit myself to give the best. I’m willing to learn and improve, but in the meantime I can only assure that I never leave things half done. If there is anything I can do, I will conclude it.

My three aspirations in life (which generally includes uni and work life) are:

- To keep happiness and to reach fulfilment in everything just doing/acting the best I can so I won't have regrets.

- To find a job I care about. Not only like or enjoy, I want to wake up and can't wait to go to work since I know I need it but it "needs me" as well.

- To be part of something.

Outside of work, I have two passions: snowboarding and photography. I think the former has taught me to always get up when I fall - this may seem like a cliché but it's true. The latter has taught me that there are always other ways to look at a situation, perspectives which can be better or worse than my original view. The important thing is to find the right way to look at something, through innovation and observation.

Previous Experience

Bartender, The Fox and Firkin; Lewisham, London, UK – July 2015 - now

Bar-back, The Magic Garden Pub; Battersea, London, UK – September 2014 - May 2015

I used to/currently work in a pub, so I'm used to work in team, under both physical and mental stress and for many hours. This job requires to stay in direct contact with customers; to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, maintaining them over time; to communicate with people outside the organisation; to suddenly and directly meet and satisfy customers needs; to quickly set priorities; to do several things at once without leaving any incomplete and rarely delegating; to have organisation’s money over personal responsibility; to fully complete a list of tasks at the end of the night in order leave the venue in suitable conditions for those who will work after.

Employed Events Photographer; Late Night London, Westend Snapper; London, UK - February 2015 - June 2015

I recently worked as an event photographer for a London based company. I have many responsibilities during work hours since in first place I directly represent another person, my boss, while working. Whenever I fail, his image would be damaged. Moreover this job requires: technical capabilities, direct communication with customers and staff members of different locations, time-management, stress management, setting goals for each shifts, satisfy the number of photo requested for every location even when the environment is not favourable. It also requires loyalty and correctness as being part of the organisation implies that every work you will be asked to do, even if would give you more profit doing it individually, must be submitted to the company and eventually could be taken by someone else. This is due to the treatment received: you’re representing someone with your pictures, you get trained and improved as a photographer, you have to be loyal.
